Frances Keithahn

Frances Shaw Keithahn, 76, of 404 Devonshire, died Tuesday, May 4, 1993 at KSB Hospital. She worked at City National Bank for 25 years prior to her retirement in 1977.

She was born Feb. 18, 1917 in Dixon to Norman Chester and Bessie Mae (Young) Miller. She married Sherman Linn Shaw March 22, 1935 in Rockford; he preceded her in death Sept. 14, 1973. She then married Arthur Keithahn Jan. 12, 1978 in Delray Beach, Fla.; he preceded her in death on May 31, 1981.

She was also preceded in death by one brother.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dixon and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include her daughter, Dolores Frances (Joseph) Olar of Pekin and five grandsons.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday in the Preston-Schilling Funeral Home with the Rev. Lincoln Richardson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be in Woodside Cemetery near Lee Center at a later date. Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m.
