William Hendershot, aged 81, years, a wood chopper, died at his home in Washington, last Thursday. He was active for his years and until recently could hold his own with much younger men in the woods cutting timber. Beside his widow, he leaves six children. They are: Robert Hendershot of Port Colden, Manches of Penwell, Henry of Quakertown, Mrs. Sarah Petty of Peapack, Mrs. Althea Wilde of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Isabella Miller of Chester Crossroads. A Brother Robert S. Hendershot of Anderson, and a sister, Mrs. Angeline Seguine of Newark, also survive.
