Joan E. Wilkinson O'dell, 61, of Pleasant Grove passed away Monday, February 16, 2004.
She was born June 25, 1942 in Richmond, CA to Clyde J. and Irene Smith Wilkinson. She married Frank Claude O'dell on November 8, 1969 in Laramie, Wyoming. Frank passed away in 1998. Joan grew up in Orem and attended Orem High and LDS Seminary, graduating in 1961. Joan enjoyed reading, watching Disney movies, and collecting dolls. She struggled with Muscular Dystrophy since 1986 but continued to lead a full active life until recently. She is survived by her father, Clyde of Pleasant Grove; sisters: Linda Jean (Lamar) Hicks, Milburne, WY; and LeAnn (Raymond) Wood, Laramie, WY; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; mother; and infant son, David.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove.
Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and on Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
