Son of David and Hepzibah (Death) How. Married 1st Bathsheba Stone. Vital Records of Sudbury; pg. 220: [torn]zekiel and Bersheba Stone, Jan. 19, 1743-44. There is also an Ezekiel How who married Bathsheba Stone on September 17, 1746, in Wayland.

Ezekiel How (1720-1796) was the proprietor of the Sudbury's Red Horse Tavern (Howe's Tavern), which he opened in 1746 and would later become "Longfellow's" Wayside Inn. Longfellow never owned the Inn, only wrote there. The Wayside Inn remained in the Howe family for 5 generations.
