CLARA A. SCHNELL

Mrs. Joseph H. Schnell, 58, R. 2, Kiel, died at her farm home in the Town of Schleswig early today following an apparent heart attack.
The former Clara Schneider was born April 12, 1903, in the Town of Centerville, a daughter of the late Frank and Wilhelmina Schneider and attended St. Wendel Catholic School. On June 30, 1925, she was married to Joseph H. Schnell of the Town of Schleswig at St. Wendel's Catholic Church. Following their marriage, the couple settled on the Schnell homestead farm. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel, and the Christian Mothers Society of the church. Survivors are her husband; a daughter and four sons (names omitted for privacy); seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Magdeline Schneider of rural Cleveland, Mrs. Math Meyer of rural Kiel, Mrs. Lester Graef of Sheboygan, and one brother, Edwin of Kiel. One brother also preceded her in death. Services will be held in Kiel at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church following brief rites at 9:30 at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home. The Rev. George Kiefer, pastor, will be the celebrant of the requiem Mass and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday where the Christian Mothers rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday.
