Charles A. Baldwin, June 5, 1913 - July 2, 1994, Charles A. "Abie" BALDWIN, 81, 1050 W. Indiana 14, Kewanna, died at 9:21 p.m. Saturday at Life Care Center, Rochester. He was born in Rochester to Dora and Nora BECK BALDWIN. On Jan. 3, 1936, in Rochester, he married Ruby P. HENDERSON, who survives. He graduated from Leiters Ford High School in 1933. He was co-owner of Baldwin's Fruit Market before retiring. He thrived on his work at the market, which was located at the junction of Indiana 14 and 17. Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Betty Jo DOTY, Kewanna; two grandsons and one granddaughter. Two brothers and one sister preceded in death. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna, with Rev. Keith SMITLEY officiating. Burial will be at the Bruce Lake Cemetery, Kewanna. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association and Life Care Center, Martin Hall Wing.
