Effie M. Davidson, 89, of Ashton, died at 1:25 p.m. Monday, June 11 at the home of Mary Davidson, in Kahoka.
Born near Antioch, September 5, 1883, she was the daughter of Moses and Elizabeth Cannon Chewning.
She married Adolph M. Davidson December 24, 1905. He died January 23, 1957.
Surviving are five grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons, three infant daughters, several brothers and sisters, and one grandson.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were Wednesday, June 13 at the United Methodist Church in Kahoka with the Rev. D. Hubert Lowes officiating.
Interment in Ashton Cemetery.
