--James David Housley, 67, 100 Piedmont Road died this morning at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge after a long illness.
--Mr. Housley, the husband of Evelyn C. Housley, was born in Darbyville, Virg., and came to Oak Ridge from Harlan County, Ky., 29 years ago.
--He retired from the fabrication division of the Y-12 Plant in 1966.
--Mr. Housley was a member of First Christian Church.
--In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Carole Murphy of Middletown, Conn., Kim and Bill Pate of Coalfield; two granddaughters, Tracy Strock of Danville, Ky., and Cindy Strock of Cincinnati, Ohio; five brothers, Bob, Bill and Tom Housley, all of Knoxville, John Housley of Providence, R.I., and Mike Housley of Spartanburg, S.C.; four sisters, Norrie Chub of Winder, Fa., Mary Gaither of Sarasota, Fla., Helen Butt of Alton, Ill., and Ginny Hanold of Brighton, Ill.
--The Rev. Johnny Wray will officiate at the funeral Saturday afternoon at 2 at the First Christian Church. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
--The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 at Martin Mortuary.
