I suggested a couple of edits earlier to this memorial and included a note with a link to the Hazelton Cemetery records as source.
I wanted to add that I'm aware there are historical references stating John Mack (husband of Sarah V. Mack) died in 1854. I just tend to rely on cemetery records when available (or family bibles, but even they can have inaccuracies). Older historical references often rely on family recollections, which can be based on tradition as records often weren't available.
For example, in "Past and Present of Greene County, Missouri" (1915), beginning on pg 871, while discussing daughter Donna (who m. Dabney C Dade): they write: "Mr. Mack's death occurred in 1854, and his widow survived until 1867. They were married in Tennessee and in 1852, the family removed to Greene county, Missouri, locating in Springfield where they became well established…"
I know you research this family and try to be as accurate as possible, and that is important to me as well, so I just though I would put this out there.
