OBITUARY

SABINE INDEX, MANY, LA. - 13 Oct 1977 - Arizona Coburn Slater, 74, passed away in Houston Tuesday, Oct. 4, after a short illness.

She is survived by her husband, Troy Slater; one daughter, Marie Reynosa of Houston TX; two sons, Monroe Slater of Pasadena TX, and Alton Ray of Houston TX; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Duggan of Florien LA, Mrs. Carmenia Clements of Mansfield LA, and and Mrs. Lovinda Miles of Houston TX; three brothers, Hobin Ott Coburn of Florien LA, Crit Coburn of Mora LA, and Norman Coburn of Beaumont TX, and several grandchildren.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 6, with Brookside Funeral Home in charge. Burial was in the Brookside Cemetery.

Mrs. Slater was a native of Sabine Parish, and lived in the Mt. Carmel area for many years, before moving to Houston.
