Born January 29, 1913, in Many, Louisiana, she was the daughter of George Wesley and Zephia Mae West Phillips.
Mrs. Bounds was married to Morris Bounds, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters, Laura Rainbolt and Margaret Ihlo, both of Center; son, Walter "Buster" Bounds of Center; brother Francis Phillips; sister, Margaret Purswell and Ruth Gleason.
