Casey Hank Winters, born May 28, 1973, died peacefully at home on Sunday, December 14, 2008. "Do not cry for me when I'm gone, live for me, as I cannot." Preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth (Carreiro) Winters, his grandparents Nana and Oggie Carreiro, Arthur Wesley Winters, Sr. and Emily Winters. Survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Marie; 2 step-daughters, Erin and Kaitlin; 3 sisters, Kim Trebonik, Libby Winters and Dana Winters; 4 nephews and 2 nieces, Nick, Justin, Blake and Anthony and Jessica and Victoria; his Aunt Pam and Uncle Dan Mann; his father, A. Wesley Winters, Jr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edna Skeen and Frank Signorile; and his very special pets, Buckeye and Guzzo. He was a successful entrepreneur and small business owner. He will be loved and missed by all who were touched by him. He was blessed with the gift of hospitality and cooking, as any visitor to his home could tell you, as they were well fed with one of his tasty dishes. (Whether they wanted to eat or not!) He had a way of making you feel welcome and at home. We will miss him deeply. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME at POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St., Powell, Oh. 43065, 614-792-1471, where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008. (The funeral home is located on W. Olentangy St./Powell Rd./SR 750 1/4 mile east of Sawmill Parkway.) Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Oh. If they choose, friends are asked to consider memorial contributions to Franklin County Animal Shelter, 1731 Alum Creek Dr., Columbus, Oh. 43207 or Worldvision.org. a children's charity in which Casey sponsored two children.
