Mr. Bednar, a
Lorain resident
47 years, was born in
Slovakia. He was a member of
Holy Trinity Church, the Holy
Name Society and the Slovak
Catholic Sokol Lodge Branch
No. 177. He was also a member
of the American Slovak Club.
Surviving are his wife. Anna;
two sons, Ralph, Lorain and Harold,
Dallas, Tex., and three grandchildren. A son, Joseph Jr., and a brother, Frank, preceded him in death. Friends will be received in the J.J. Gluvna and Sons Funeral Home, Lorain, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and7 to 9 p.m. The Slovak Catholic Sokol Lodge and the
Holy Name Society will have a
combined rosary service there
tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
Services will be Wednesday
at 9 a.m. in the funeral home
and at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity
Church. The Rev. Joseph Ungarsky will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
