Mrs. Lena Bond, 67, of Perkinston, died at her home and funeral services were held on September 4 at the Tenmile Church with Rev J A Davis officiating. Burial was in Tenmile Cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl Moore, Newitt Hawk, Burnice Lott, Dozier Williams, Walter Miles and Allen Bond. Mrs. Bond is survived by two brothers, Leon Ladner and Alonzo Ladner of Saucier; a sister, Mrs. Artemease Hickman of Gulfport; five children Mrs. Ada McKenzie of New Orleans, Floran Bond of Biloxi and Palmus Bond, Clifton Bond and Griffin Bond all of Perkinston and ten grandchildren.
