Mrs. E. C. Redfern died last night at 9:30 at her home, 713 North Brevard street. She had been a sufferer for several years and the end came peacefully. Not until yesterday was her condition considered critical She realized that she was near the end of her earthly career and remarked to her daughter-in-law Mrs. Edward Redfern "This is the last long rest."
Mrs. Redfern leaves three sons, Preston, Edward (with whom she made her home), and Albert.
The funeral will be conducted this afternoon at 4 from the home of Rev. H. H. Hulten and Rev. W. O. Goode.
