Oscar E. "June" Ogle, Jr., age 80 of Sevierville died Saturday February 5, 2005 at Sevier County Health Care Center. He was a lifetime resident of Sevier County. His parents, Oscar and Mertie Ogle, were part of the first settlers who lived in the National Park and among the last to be granted burial there. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his infant son, Larry Steven, sister, Grace McCarter and brother, Milton Ogle. Survivors: Wife of 58 years: Laura McCarter Ogle Daughter: Connie Mullins Seaton and special siblings, Becky Dodgen, Chuck Mullins Grandchildren: Leslie Mullins and Randy Davis Brother and sister-in-law: Willie "Wib" and Perna Ogle Sisters and brother-in-law: Margaret and Bill Mantooth Bunt McCarter Blanche Wilkins Joy and Larry Buchanan, of Columbus, GA Special niece: Brenda Ogle Special nephew: Joe Ogle Special family friend: Larry Miller Four generations of nieces and nephews, the McCarter sisters, and brother Ernest and family. Funeral service 7PM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Smith officiating. Interment 11AM Tuesday in Proffitt Cemetery
