Obituary
The funeral of Mrs. S. E. Frum, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Ella Cushman, at the age of 73 years on Tuesday, July 3, 1923 at 1:40p.m., occurred on Thursday at 2p.m. The funeral was held from the old home place of the deceased. The services were conducted by Rev. W. F. Rademacher of Albany and internment was at the Sand ridge cemetery.

Sarah E. Parrish was born at Waterloo, Linn county, Oregon on November 21st, 1849. Her parents shortly afterwards moved back to the Gamalia Parrish donation land claim six miles north of Brownsville, near where she spent the greater part of her life. She was married to Alpheus Frum on September 15, 1872. To them ten children were born, five of whom are living. They are O. W. Frum of Halsey, OR.; Mrs. Ella Cushman of Brownsville; Matty Thompson of Albany; Ray E. Frum of Brownsville, and Walter E. Frum of Crawfordsville. One brother, H. E. Parrish of Newport, OR., and 15 grandchildren are numbered among the survivors.
