Gladys B. Griffith Hannah, 99, of Grayson went to be with her Lord at Carter Nursing and Rehab Center in Grayson.
She was a daughter of the late Sherman and Maggie Shepherd Griffith.
She was a member of the Lindsey Chapel Methodist Church and a homemaker. She loved attending to her flowers, sewing and collecting rocks.
She was preceded by her first husband Albert John Gobel and her second husband Erwin L. Hannah; also by three sons Darrell Z. Gobel, Omar Wilson Gobel and Steven Hannah; one daughter Minnie "Louise" Fisher; three sisters Faye Waugh, Lucille Griffith, Lona Griffith and Lola Griffith; one brother Walter Griffith. Her survivors include: two sons George F. and wife Janice Gobel of Millersville MD and William B. Gobel of IN; five daughters Wanda M. Bellew of Three Rivers MI, Joyce F. Alvis of Brookline Park MD, Judith Gay Henson of MD, Betty Sue Koelbel of MD and Donna Jean Pinkerton of Cannonsburg KY. 31 Grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 46 great great grandchildren.
