Mrs. Vera Irene Christian, 69, of Pascagoula, Miss., formerly of Steele, died May 17, 1992, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. Born August 19, 1922, in Denton, she was the daughter of Clarence Henry and Ollie Heathcock Reeves. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by her husband, Joe J. Christian of Pascagoula; Two sons, Randy McClure Christian of Pascagoula and Kenny Joe Christian of Bay City, Texas; A sister, Maude Alice Cunningham of Parkersburg, W. Va. And six grandchildren.
Graveside services were held May 20, 1992 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery, the Rev. Ben Early officiating. Bradshaw German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge.
