E. J. Heller
Dies Thursday
Edward J. Heller, 60, of Bendersville, died at 7:30 Friday night at his home. he had been in failing health for the last 9 months.
Born in Adams County, & a life-long resident of the county, he was a son of the late William G. & Elsie E. (Wingert) Heller, & had been employed by Ritter Brothers Construction Company of Harrisburg for 19 years. For the last 3 years he had been employed by C.H. Gulden Manufacturing Company of Aspers.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Gettysburg.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lillian M. Seburn; 3 daughters, Mrs. Lee Miller of York Haven; Mrs. Jack Danley of Seminole, Fla.; & Mrs. Charles Smith of Aspers; a son, L. Robert Heller of Gettysburg; 20 grandchildren; 5 brothers, Raymond E. Heller & Eugene P. Heller, both of Asper R.1; James G. Heller of Lebanon; Junior R. Heller of Bendersville; & Arthur C. Heller of Plainfield.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 from the Dugan Funeral Home in Bendersville with Rev. Kenneth R. Bonham & Rev. Edgar Ziegler officiating.
Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home in Bendersville Sunday evening from 7-9 o'clock.
