Funeral services are scheduled for today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Myrtle Josephine Sederstrom, 79, of Rt. 1, Laona. Rev. Leslie A. Weerts will officiate at the services to be held at St. John's Lutheran church, Laona, with interment at Laona cemetery.
Mrs. Sederstrom died Sunday at Ovitz hospital, Laona. The body lay in state at Halverson Funeral Home, Crandon, after 2 p.m. Wednesday, and friends may call at the church in Laona from 10 a.m. today until the time of the services.
The daughter of James and Mary Christiansen was born Sept. 16, 1888 at Angelica, Wis. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Her marriage to Edward Sederstrom took place April 9, 1908. He preceded her in death June 8, 1959. A son Charles, three brothers and a sister also preceded her in death.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Esther O'Brian, Milwaukee; Mrs. Richard (Elsie) Bright, Redway, Calif.; Mrs. Daniel (Isabel) Brault, Manitowac; Mrs. Herman (Alice) Lange, Mrs. Raymond (Mary) Brewer, and Mrs. Michael (Nora) Lempel, all of Laona; a son, Clarence of Redway, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Peterson, Wabeno; 27 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren
