"If it is true that we are judged by the deeds of the children we bear, then I shall be a king when judgment day is here" Tony loved his children.

Born Nov. 18, 1919 in Murray, Utah to Mark Bilanzich and Josephine Stagar. Died June 17, 1995 after a long battle with cancer. Married Lydia Knorr March 4, 1947 later divorced.

Survived by son, Michael; daughter, Mrs. Gaylene Halvorsen, Colorado Springs; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve, Rudy, Bill, Frank, and George; sisters, Emma Walker, Helen Jensen, and Annie Carslile. Preceded in death by brothers John, Mike, and both parents.

Tony was an outstanding athlete in several sports including football and graduated from Judge Memorial High School. Served in Army Air Force Armaments in World War II Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Retired from Streator Chevrolet parts department after 35 years service. He was a tournament class bowler who always enjoyed a "600 series".

He came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in January of this year and has a special place in heaven.

Our thank you to Ann Holmes who lovingly cared for him until the end.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 1995 at Metro Fellowship Church, 460 West Century Drive (450 West 4350 South).
