Arnold Gaidos was born to Joseph and Magdalen (Duzi) Gaidos, immigrants from Hungary, on 23 May 1916 in Racine, Wisconsin. He had 3 siblings - Charles, William, and Irene. He married Martha Nimmerfroh on 26 February 1938. He was killed in action during WWII and was a Private in Company B, 68th Armored Battalion, 14th Armored Division. Arnold was first buried in Epinal, France and was brought home to be buried on 21 March 1950.
