William G. Brumbaugh Dies At Sandusky Soldiers' Home

William G. Brumbaugh, former Mansfield man and brother of Charles S. Brumbaugh, died at the Ohio Soldiers' and Sailors' home at Sandusky last Sunday according to word that has just been received here.

Mr. Brumbaugh,who was a Civil war veteran, having served 48 months with Company E 64th O.V.I. was admitted to the home September 24, 1916. He was 78 years of age, and had been suffering recently from heart trouble. On the occasion of his last visit to Mansfield, his condition was such that he was barley able to endure the return trip to Sandusky. He was reported in the hospital last week, and was said to be in a serious condition.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning, and burial was made in the Home cemetery. Relatives here are making an effort to have the body brought here as Mr. Brumbaugh has a lot in the Mansfield cemetery.

*William G Brumbaugh may not be buried in this cemetery. He has a memorial but, he passed away at a disabled veterans home. His death certificate says he was buried at that home in Perkins Twp in Erie County, Ohio.
