Robert J Nall was the Son of Charles Henry and Louisiana Ward Nall. Robert was born in Owen County Kentucky and was the fourth of nine children born to this union. Robert moved to Cass county in the mid 1850's and lived around Virginia IL. most of his life, he was first married to Catherine Metzmaker and to this union was born five children, later he married Mary Johnson of Beardstown IL.
