He resided in this community taking part in its social and agriculture life until failing health compelled him to go to Topeka. Early in his youth he was converted and joined the Methodist church at a meeting held in the Albion school house. The parental home was broken upon the death of his father in 1924 and his mother in 1932. Also one sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his departure one sister, Mrs. Victoria Thomas of Florence, and a brother, Ulysses W. Day of Kansas City, Kan., and a number of relatives and friend.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian church in Narka, with the Rev. F. L. Courter of Munden in charge, assisted by Dr. W. S. Smalley, and interment was made in Ida cemetery (sic).
