Brenda Emore Hatcher, 64, of Lexington, died April 10, 2009. She was born August 11, 1944, in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Herbert Lee Emore and Frances Warren Emore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Potter and a brother, Michael Emore. Surviving are two daughters, Lisa H. Suthers and husband, David, and Kim Branche and husband, Chris; two brothers, Jimmy Emore and wife, Bette, and Johnny Emore and wife, Sandy, all of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Chastity Hatcher, Devonta and Christiana Branche and D.J. Austin; one great-grandchild, Cameron Youncofski. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
