Died probably at home at either Burr Oak or Colon. She married Harvey Harris on Feb 7, 1843. Harvey was a widower. She gave birth to Huldah Amanda Harris on Feb 13, 1844 along with a twin son who died at birth. She died on Oct 26, 1845. Who she was prior to her marriage and what she died from is a mystery. Whether Daren is a prior married name or her maiden name is unknown but she was 29 when she married according to the Marriage License. Age doesn't match up with death age. She obviously gave her age at her marriage but her death age would have been given by someone else.

This is the birthdate of her Daughter Huldah Amanda Harris: Which means Huldah was a TWIN... and the son died on his date of birth. Amanda Daren Harris died the following year. Was it complications of another pregnancy or something else? Death records burned for that locality however some of the original death records are retained at the Colon Historical Society in St. Joseph County, Michigan. Research should also be done on the 1845 town Census which is also at the same location AND is also archived at the University of Michigan and the State of Michigan Archives Library.

Her name prior to her marriage was Amanda Daren or Darens: We do not have any history of her prior to her marriage license: The name is actually Daren.
