It was with sincere sorrow --- among older people of the community especially --- that the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Guynn was received last week. She died suddenly of heart disease Sunday evening, the 5th inst., at her home near Maryland Station. Of Grandma Guynn there is one concurrent testimonial: "She was one of the noblest and best of women." For years she was a resident of Oak Ridge and was the widowed mother of George, Thomas and William Guynn, presiding over the home of the latter, who is unmarried.
