Mrs. Mary E. Abbitt, 94, a long-time resident of Moberly, died at 10:15 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of a son, Harry Abbitt, Kansas City.
Mrs. Abbitt was born in Allegheny, Pa., but had spent practically her entire life in Moberly. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Abbitt is survived by two sons, Harry Abbitt of Kansas City, and Charles Abbitt of Arkansas City, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Ernest Vardiman of Leavenworth, Kan.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at the Mahan Funeral Parlors, tomorrow afternoon by Dr. Merle A. Mitchell, First Baptist pastor. Burial in Oakland cemetery.
