Funeral services for Henry H. Essary, 54, of 1008 Hedgecoke, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday from Simpson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lon Kinley, of the Salvation Army, officiating and the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church, assisting.

Essary died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at North Plains Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Leatrice, of the home; three daughters, Mary Essary, Betty Jo Essary and Mrs. Tommy Gariepy, all of Borger; one sister, Mrs. Ed Blackwell of Show Low, Ariz.; and one grandchild.

Casketbearers were H.J. Hertel, William Paul Isom, Melvin Gilchrest, Tommy Reyna, J.W. Vallaster, Leroy Bogan.
