Mrs. Patterson Rites Tuesday
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Lunn Chapel for Sadie Ira Patterson, 79, Olney resident who died in an Olney hospital Sunday night. Rev. John Henry, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, officiated.
Born Sadie Ira Badgwell August 29, 1907 in Montague County, Texas, she was married in Walters, Okla. October 18, 1931 to R.A. Patterson. He died in 1960. She had lived in Olney, and worked in the past at Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
She was a Baptist, and was past president of Rebecca Lodge in 1960 and was active in Eastern Star.
Survivors include a brother, Clinton Badgwell of Seymour, and two nephews.
Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro, under direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
