Billie Walker Lipps, age 90, of Charleston, SC. and formerly of Middlesboro, Ky., was born November 23, 1913 in Sharps Chapel, and passed away October 5, 2004.
She was of the Baptist faith, graduated from Horace Maynard High School and Knoxville Business College and worked locally as a bookkeeper for many years. She was preceded in death by parents: Paris and Francy Keck Walker; husbands: James C. Gray and Don E. Lipps; brothers and sisters-in-law: George and Maggie Walker, Walter and Virgie Graves; Memorial Services were held 7 p.m. Friday, October 15 at Reece Valley Chapel with Rev. Sam Johnson officiating. Music by Con Hunley. Graveside Services were held 1 p.m. Saturday, October 16 at Stiner Cemetery in Sharps Chapel Community of Union County with Rev. James Beeler officiating.
