The deceased lady was 48 years of age and leaves a husband and a family of six interesting children.
She was a woman of beautiful character and was the idol of the family circle who are inconsolable over her loss.
The funeral services will be conducted at the family residence at two o'clock this afternoon by Rev. J. M. Keltner of the Baptist church and the interment will be at Fairview cemetery.
Note: The above obituary was in a scrapbook belonging to Sarah's granddaughter, Beryl Stauffer, who added a note that "she was the wife of William L. Stoufer (Stauffer)" and that she "died March 20, 1895". The obituary was clipped from an undated Joplin, Missouri newspaper.
