Born in Newark, she lived in Belleville prior to moving to Point Pleasant 64 years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Joseph Ertel, 1991; and her daughter, Joy Louise Ertel, 1979.
Rosalyne is survived by her son, William J. Ertel Jr,. of Toms River; two daughters, Judith Harrell of Craig, Colo. and Jacquelyne Kilgore, of Smithville, Tenn.; six grandsons, Shawn R. West, George West Jr., William J. Ertel III, Harold G. Kilgore, Jr., Kelly W. West and Michael E. Ertel; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The Colonial Funeral Home, Brick was in charge of arrangements. Interment took place at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan.
