Surviving with his wife are one son, Michael Leslie Grissom of Oolitic, IN; one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Vicky Grissom) Hicks of Bedford, IN; one sister, Maxine Golden Rogers; three grandchildren, Leslie Joe Hicks, Amanda Jane Grissom, and John Michael Harley Grissom; and one nephew, Preston Terry Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Oliver E. Flynn; and one niece, Debra Beaver.
He was a retired Chevrolet car salesman in Bedford and was a 1952 graduate of Williams High School. He was a member of American Legion Gillen Post #33 and a lifetime honorary member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsman's Club. He was an accomplished musician and entertainer for forty-five years in and around Lawrence County.
Services for Leslie Grissom will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3rd, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Revs. Merla Craig and Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
