Doyle Dennis Lynch was the son of Elvin Warner Lynch and Maye Stroud Lynch. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean war.

Doyle was born July 22, 1927, in the Suggs community. He attended Suggs school and graduated from Scotland High School in 1944. He then enlisted in the navy and received his recruit training at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station in Great Lakes, Illinois. He was assigned to an LST in the Pacific area where he served until August, 1946, after which he was discharged. During the Korean War Doyle reenlisted and served on a frigate in the Korean area for three years.
Doyle attended Arkansas State Teachers College (now University of Central Arkansas) and the University of Arkansas. He worked for the Arkansas Highway Department, as an intercity bus driver, as a security guard, and as a butcher. He married Jean McClaren Adams in 1958. He died January 7, 1975, and is buried in the Old Liberty Cemetery near where he grew up.
