As an infant, Taylor moved to rural Courtland, and lived there until he graduated from Courtland High School in 1935. He was united in marriage to Edna Ruth Patterson of Formoso on Dec. 21, 1939. To this union two children were born. They began their lives together on a farm south of Formoso.
He was a member of the Formoso Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Edna R. Clark, Formoso; son, Taylor Eugene Clark, Formoso; daughter, Patricia Tyler, Broomfield, Colo.; three grandchildren, John Clark, Stephanie Watson and Patrick Tyler; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin Clark, Jewell, and Paul Clark, Topeka; and a sister, Evelyn Case, Palos Verdes, Calif.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Formoso Community Church with Pastor Gene Little officiating. Interment will be in Balch Cemetery, rural Formoso. Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, is in charge of arrangements.
