Chad M. Corbin, 21, of DeLand, died July 9, 2002.
Born in Binghampton, N.Y., he came to the DeLand area in 1995, coming from Maine, N.Y. He served a tour of duty with the U.S. Navy and was discharged in 2001. He was a member of the YMCA. He had a great sense of humor and computer knowledge. His car was his passion and way of life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Corbin Sr.; grandfathers, Harold D. Schmidt and Mac McLain and his nephew Cody Corbin.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Darlene and Jeffrey McLain; maternal grandmother, Betty Schmidt; paternal grandmother, Ronnie McLain; sister, Ami Corbin; half-brother, Charlos Corbin; step-sister, Olivia McLain; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Burial will follow in Eden Cemetery,
