Caroline's 1st marriage was to Henry Francis Poor. They were the parents of two sons:
Henry French Poor & Charles Benjamin Poor.
After Henry's death in 1859, Caroline md A.W. Bush and had two children with him:
William MacFarlane Bush (1874-aft1Apr1940) &
Lola Kahailiopua (Bush) Hopkins (1877-aft1Apr1940)

Mrs. C.F.P. Bush Passes Away in her Seventy-Eighth Year.

Mrs. Caroline French Poor Bush passed away shortly after 8 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Hopkins, Jr., at Kapiolani Park, in her 78th year. The ravages of old age are believed to have been responsible for the death.

The funeral will be held from the Kawaiahao Church. Rev. H.H. Parker conducting the burial services.

Deceased was the mother of Chas. Benjamin and Henry Francis Poor, both of whom preceded their mother in death. Mrs. Chas. Hopkins, Jr. and distant relatives in Hawaii and on the mainland survive Mrs. Bush, who was a native of the islands.

Funeral Services Today over Remains of Mrs. Poor-Bush

The funeral services of Mrs. Caroline French Poor-Bush, who died in Honolulu yesterday morning at the age of 77 years, are being held at the Kawaiahao church this afternoon with Rev. H.H. Parker officiating, interment to be in the Nuuanu cemetery. The Kaahumanu Society, of which Mrs. Poor-Bush was one of the oldest members, is in charge.

Mrs. Poor-Bush, who was born in this city March 3, 1836, was married to Henry Francis Poor March 13, 1856. She was the mother of Henry Francis Poor, Jr. and Charles Benjamin Poor, both of whom she survived in this life. The latter son became a prominent actor and died a few years ago in California. Following the death of her first husband, Mrs. Poor married A.W. Bush and the children of this union, both of whom are living, are A.W. Bush of the Inter-Island and Mrs. Charles A.K. Hopkins.

Mrs. Poor-Bush, who was a woman possessed of excellent qualities, was a close friend of the late Robert Louis Stevenson, and it was their her that the famous poet-author dedicated his "Birthday Poem," written on the 53rd anniversary of her birthday.

Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Caroline French Poor-Bush, who died in this city Tuesday, were held yesterday afternoon in the Kawaiahao church, Rev. H.H. Parker officiating and speaking in both the English and Hawaiian languages. The church was prettily decorated and many beautiful floral tributes adorned the casket. Interment was in the Nuuanu cemetery, the pallbearers being John A. Dominis, M.G.K. Hopkins, Edward K. Hung, Alfred S. Kenway, John H. Wilson and George Lucas.
