MRS HERMAN MEINDERS, 57; DIES SUNDAY MORNING RITES WEDNESDAY P.M.
Mrs. Herman Meinders, 57, 1125 Clay Street died at 5 a.m. Sunday at Satori Hospital. Co,mplications following surgery some weeks ago contributed to her death.
She was born Mae Lundeen September 16, 1897 at Moose Lake, Minnesota the daughter of Nels and Nettie Lundeen. She married Herman B, Meinders July 25, 1918 at Grundy Center. The couple lived there three years then came to Cedar Falls, She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Christiansen, 1815 Hawthorne and Mrs. W. E. Whittsitt Jr., Kansas City, Missouri, one grandchild; three brothers; John Lundeen, Richmond, California, Fred Lundeen, Pittsburg, California, and George also in California, one sister, Mrs. Lawrence Vander Ecken, Melcher.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at the Dahl Funeral Home with Dr. Kenneth Metcalf officiating . Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
The body is at the Dahl Funeral Home.
