James Earl Alberts Jr was one of twelve children born to James Earl Alberts and Phalby Sara Cooper. He lived his entire life in central Texas. He, like his sisters and brothers all grew up on the peanut farm owned by his parents. Alberts' peanuts and peanut brittle were famous in the surrounding communities. In 1940 he married Eliza Washington. No children were born to this union. He was killed suddenly in an auto accident at the age of 22. He was preceded in death by his brothers Fred Odell and Morty Buster. He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, Phalby Sara and James Earl Alberts; his brothers, Chatman, Daniel, Moses, Henry, and Amos; his sisters Mary, Ursula, Minerva, and Priscilla; many neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
