Mabel S. Lyke of Arcade died May 31, 1959 at the age of 78. Funeral services were held from the Funeral Home of W.S. Davis, Inc., in Arcade Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Frank Davis officiating. Interment was in Sandusky.
Surviving Mrs. Lyke is a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Carpenter of Hermosa Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel T. Lyke and a step-son John Lyke.
Mrs. Lyke was a member of the First Baptist Church of Arcade and for over 50 years a member of Imperial Rebekah Lodge No. 275 of Arcade.
