Carolyn R. Manning, of Upper Darby, on Feb. 15, 2009; she was 57.
Born in Darby on July 23, 1951 and was the daughter of Regina K. ( Kupczyk) and the late William F. Manning.
She was a 1969 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School and later attended Ursinus College and Retts Technical School.
Carolyn was a writer for the Collegeville Independent in her early career and later wrote articles on various sites on the Internet. She attended St. Lawrence Church in Upper Darby. Carolyn enjoyed sewing clothing, quilting, macrame, cooking, plants, animals, and was very creative with arts and crafts.
In addition to her mother she is the dearest sister of Susan Manning of North Wales, Lori Manning of Skippack, and her brother William Manning Jr. of Spring Hill, Fla.
Also sadly missed by her nephews Derek and Nathan, niece Jillian Hartman, her aunt Irene Elliott, and her fiance; Robert Stansell. Also survived by many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Carolyn's life celebration service Wednesday Feb. 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. with her funeral service at 11 a.m. at Boyd-Horrox of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
