Burial was in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson.
Mr. McGee died Saturday at his residence following an apparent heart attack.
A native of Caldwell parish, he was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie B. McGee of Winnsboro; two sons, Cecil E. McGee and J. P. McGee Jr., both of Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Louis C. McQueen of West Monroe; three brothers, Henry McGee of Jena, George McGee of Austin, Tex., and Richard McGee of Concord, Calif., one sister, Mrs. W. M. Smythe of New Orleans; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were J. C. Sanford, D. W. Williamson, Ernest Otwell, Lawrence Otwell, Laverne Carroll, and D. E. Taylor.
