Edward M. Smith, 78, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W.A. Driscoll of Dayton at 5:20 a.m. Thursday, following a three weeks illness.
Surviving beside the daughter are seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three brothers, Howard and Bert of Lima, Charlie of Oblong, Ill.
The body will remain at the Weygandt funeral home, Waynesfield until time of services which will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Westminster Methodist church. Burial will be in Westminster cemetery.
