DEATH OF JULIUS BOSARGE
News was rec'd in the city yesterday morning of the death of Julius Bosarge,one of the oldest residents of Mobile County, which occurred onday night at his home, Bayou La Batre.
His immediate illness was only of short duration, although he had been in failing health for some years. He was for many years engaged in the oyster and fish and was well known here and throughout Mobile County. He served in
the Confederate Army during the Civil War and won distinction. He received a wound at the Battle of Seven Pines. He is survived by five daughters and four sons, as well as other relatives.
The funeral took place yesterday in the Bayou La Batre Cemetery.
