Emmett Finley WARE SHOALS
Emmett Buddy Finley, 80, of Rt. 1, Donalds, died Sunday at his home. A native of Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Elihue and Lula Bannister Finley.
He was a retired employee of Riegel Textile Corp. and a member of King's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sallie Emerson Finley; two sons, [Calvin] Emmett Finley of Ware Shoals, James E. Finley of West Columbia; two daughters, Mrs. Mary C. [Finley] Hill and Mrs. Inez ["Nezzie"] F[inley] Pitts of West Columbia; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parker-White Funeral Home with the Rev. CL Carter and the Rev. Jack Hatchell officiating. Burial in. Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight.

Moved from the Sharon Community of Abbeville County to Ware Shoals to work for Riegel Textile. Member of Kings Chapel Methodist Church, Ware Shoals, served as Church Clerk for many years.
Surviving is his wife of the home, Sallie Felicia Emerson Finley; children: Calvin "Emmett" (Clara), Finley, Ware Shoals; James E. (Rosie) Finley, West Columbia; Inez "Nezzie" Finley (Ed) Pitts, West Columbia; Mary Finley (John D.) Hill, Lake Murray, Leesville, SC.
Died at home Turkey Creek Road, Route 2 Donalds (Blue Heaven Community), Abbeville County, SC. (One fourth mile off of the Ware Shoals/Honea Path highway.)
