Earle "Worm" Finley, 48, of 2 Sparks Ave., Ware Shoals died Sunday, April 24, 1994, at Self Memorial Hospital.

Earle was the second oldest son of Clara Hammett Finley and the late Calvin Emmett Finley of Ware Shoals. He was a native of Ware Shoals and graduated from Ware Shoals High School in 1964.

He was employed as an electronic technician with Monsanto at Greenwood until his death, member of Kings Chapel United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #306, and served 16 years in the S.C. Army National Guard, Company D, 151st Signal Battalion, Ware Shoals.

Surviving are his widow, Susan Spearman Finley; mother Clara Hammett Finley of Ware Shoals; a daughter, Melissa Hope Finley of the home; brothers, Lewis W. [Beth] Finley of Wallace, N.C. and David E. [Connie] Finley, of Gaffney. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Emmett [Barbara] Finley of Donalds.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-White Funeral Home by Dr. Marcus Bishop and the Rev. Harold Patton; burial with Masonic Rites in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
