IVA — Barbara Hopkins Finley Bannister, 55, of Session Shores, wife of Duanne Bannister, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late John and Pauline Hopkins. She was a member of Carswell Baptist Church, Iva, and was employed by Patrick B. Harris.
She was twice married, first to the late Charles E. Finley.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Michael Emmett Finley of Ware Shoals, C. Rodney Finley of Donalds and step-son Hazen Bannister Jr. of Honea Path; a step-daughter, Roxanne Copeland of Anderson; two brothers, Raymond Hopkins of Hartwell, Ga., and Johnny Hopkins of Ware Shoals; a sister, Polly Hopkins Hendricks of Ware Shoals; and six grandchildren.
